Volunteer

When you volunteer with Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity, you become an integral part of someone's life. Stable housing is the foundation for a healthy life. Volunteering empowers people to become successful homeowners and vital members of the community.  No construction skills are needed!  We give you a "doable" task and help you have fun learning on the job!

Our volunteer opportunities

Home Building

Construction volunteers are the foundation of our affordable homeownership program. Our Field of Dreams project is going strong, and we need all the help we can get!  No construction skills or tools are required! We give you "doable" tasks that accommodate all skill and ability levels. You'll have fun learning on the job!  We schedule 6-hour home building shifts year-round. Email or sign up through our calendar.

Corporate Build Days are a great opportunity for companies to give back!

The ReStore

Volunteers are the heartbeat of the Salt Lake ReStore, helping clean, organize, and arrange the many items donated daily.

Photography

We can always use the help of amateur and professional photographers to capture the fun during our construction and ReStore volunteer projects and our special events.

Special Events

Join the fund during one of our fundraising events, Kids Korner Events, or Parking Lot Sales.
