Our name has changed as we welcome the residents of Davis County to our service area!
New name, new service area
Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity has expanded, adding Davis County to our existing area of Salt Lake and Tooele Counties. Davis County residents are now eligible to apply for our programs, including Critical Home Repairs. The name change reflects our commitment to families along the Wasatch Front.
CEO Carin Crowe led the expansion effort in response to strains suffered by the Davis County Habitat for Humanity affiliate due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “We are excited to serve a broader region and partner with more communities in the greater Salt Lake area. This expansion is a pivotal step toward providing more families with the stability that comes with homeownership,” said Carin. “We are grateful for the ongoing support from our community, partners, and donors who make this important work possible. With this growth, we will be able to reach even more low- to moderate-income households in need of safe, affordable housing solutions."
